Traversodon is a genus of therapsid. Being a cynodont, it was a relative of the direct ancestor to modern mammals. Traversodon lived in what is now South America.

In When Dinosaurs Roamed AmericaEdit

We only see it in one scene in the late Triassic segment. After running through the forest, a Coelophysis comes across a deep burrow. It checks it out but then, a Traversodon emerges from the burrow and scares the Coelophysis off.

  • Traversodon was shown living in northeastern North America but it really lived in South America. Though it could've still visited North America, since all continents were fused at the time.
